Before I go on, I must say how sorry I am for being so M.I.A.
I have been in product formulation world -- five newbies in February. And in the Purple Lab business story, there have been leaps and bounds ... partners, smoothing out every kink in our manufacturing process, rebuilding our site to add e-commerce and capability of pre-ordering new products (sign up now, free shipping later!).
It's a lot to balance in an office apartment with my husband, seven girls, constant mayhem, and a day job!
But that said, I have the biggest news of a lifetime ... HSN! HSN! HSN! Purple Lab and I are coming to HSN! The dream! I cannot even begin to explain the excitement I have and appreciation for this - to be touching something I have prayed for, went into debt for, and worked to the bone for is just such a gift.
Here's the fabulous factor: We are casting for a model to come on air with me! A purplemodel, if you will! The mantra here: Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, colors. You don't have to be two-pounds and a gazillion feet tall. It is really about the energy of Purple Lab -- confidence, savvy, fun and glamour (whether it's in your attitude or in your life).
