I've traveled all over the world researching and putting together videos for the ABC travel show I've been hosting for the last couple of years, but, on one recent trip, I didn't just find a fascinating destination, I got a much needed life reboot.
Several years ago, a stressed out friend told me about a life changing trip she took to Miraval Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona, so when my producer asked me about doing something on a wellness retreat, something healthy and empowering, I knew just where we needed to go.
But before we started the cameras rolling I signed up for several Miraval experiences so I could really understand what this place was all about and in the process ended up learning a lot about myself.
I quickly found out that at Miraval it is all about living in the moment, taking time to work on the things in your life that need working on and clearing your mind and your heart so you can keep following your dreams even when you're faced with giant roadblocks.
