Kari Kiernan lives and writes in San Francisco. Throughout her professional life she has worked in both nonprofit arts and education. Currently, she works as an administrator at a San Francisco independent high school and serves on the Board of PlayGround, a theatre company committed to developing new playwrights. Her work has previously been seen in Skirt! magazine. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Humanities with an emphasis in creative writing.
