Kat Kane is a Senior Associate at SKDKnickerbocker. She also serves as Communications Director for the Manhattan Young Democrats, an all-volunteer organization seeking to "educate and activate" young New Yorkers about local and national issues. The group has been named Young Democrats of America's "Chapter of the Year" three times running.

Prior to working in strategic communications, Kat held production positions at NY1, CNN's "American Morning" and MSBC's "Verdict with Dan Abrams".

Kat grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Sociology.
