Kate Goldwater is a 23-year-old fashion designer, artist, and store owner living in New York. After graduating from NYU with a concentration in Art and Clothing for Social Justice, she opened up her own store in October 2006. Her store, AuH2O, is an environmental and sweatshop-free boutique that carries her one-of-a-kind designs. All AuH2O clothing is made of recycled materials such as old t-shirts, slips, ties, vintage dresses, costumes and curtains. Goldwater sews all clothing at her store, located at 84 E. 7th St. in New York City's East Village.
