Kathleen Buczko has over 15 years of experience writing, marketing and telling the stories of the consumer electronics business. Although her background includes stints with telecommunications, energy, utilities, healthcare, packaged goods and franchising giants, she has been serving as counsel and strategist from her LA-based firm, NMC Partners, for the past 10 years.
Prior to forming NMC Partners, Kathleen was Director of Public Relations at Epson America, Inc., where she was responsible for the strategic development and direction of the company's public relations program for the Western Hemisphere. She also launched Epson's web site and reputation management program -- and one of the first corporate blogs in 1996! Previously, she was managing supervisor at Manning, Selvage & Lee, Los Angeles, California, supervising high technology accounts such as Motorola Computer Group, Pioneer Electronics, and Epson America. Prior to that, she was account supervisor at Aldrich & Associates, Long Beach, California, where she managed the Toshiba America Information Systems, Borg-Warner Industrial Products and NEC accounts. She began her career as a news writer/producer at WDIV-TV, an NBC affiliate, Detroit, Michigan. She regularly writes and blogs at KBOK, and Waking From The Dream.
