Kathryn Schifferdecker is an Associate Professor of Old Testament at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. An ordained Lutheran (ELCA) pastor, she has served churches in Iowa and Wisconsin. She studies and writes about various topics, including God and suffering, biblical narrative, Jewish-Christian dialogue, preaching, and the Bible and ecology. She is author of
