Keith Elliot Greenberg is the author of December 8, 1980: The Day John Lennon Died, an hour-by-hour account of the events surrounding the last day of John Lennon’s life.

Keith has authored more than 30 nonfiction books, including To Be the Man, the 2004 New York Times bestseller cowritten with “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, considered by many to be the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Keith has also written for Maxim, USA Today, the Village Voice, New York Observer, US Weekly, Playboy.com, NBCSports.com, and FoxNews.com, among others. As a television producer, Keith’s work has appeared on America’s Most Wanted, 48 Hours, MSNBC Investigates, A&E Biography, the History Channel, VH1, PBS, and Court TV.

A lifetime New Yorker, Keith was born in the Bronx, grew up in Queens, and now lives in Brooklyn. He first became a Beatles fan at age five, after seeing them on the Ed Sullivan Show.
