This just in, the Michael Jackson show continues, even in death.
The family is reporting that there will soon be a public viewing at his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara. I'm sure it will be a tasteful affair. No one would be so crass as to sell t-shirts, jackets, posters, candles, CD's, silver gloves, post cards, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, DVD's, memorial baseball caps, webkinz, Captain EO masks, Michael Jackson action figures, Michael Jackson as California Raisin action figures, authorized biographies, Michael Jackson Mastercards, Wiz soundtracks, Jackson 5 lunch pails, underwear, trading cards, puppets, mug shots, records, clocks, bed sheets, clods of Neverland dirt, calendars, ticket books to Neverland rides, King of Pop dolls, Black and White singing dolls, pins, badges, Lisa Marie Presley wedding invitations, Jehovah's Witness brochures, last photos, 911 recordings, Neverland ant farms, afro wigs, sunglasses, shot glasses, comic books, stuffed animal of Ben the rat, flashlights, karaoke tapes, chia pets, helium balloons (inhale them and talk like Michael), shampoo, bobbleheads (collect all 5), Joe Jackson pimp suits, socks, Butterfield 8 DVD's, Lucite frames, blow ups of Janet's wardrobe malfunction, courtroom artists' renderings, foam fingers, tampons, beach towels, crying towels, deposition reprints, life size cardboards (size 8 years old - adult), pillows, and woochies.
The news media will certainly respect the family's privacy and not trot out every news van, satellite dish, production truck, helicopter, klieg light, and microphone in America. There will be no photographers, no anchors, no field reporters, no TMZ stringers, no Jesse Jackson.
Opportunistic concessionaires won't be just off site selling Moonwok stir fry, PYT (pink yam tamales), Billie Jean burgers, black and white cookies, Thriller chillers, Beet It borscht, Doggone hot dogs, Dangerous chili, King of lollipops, and King of soda Pop.
Ultimately the services will be private... whatever that means.

But darkness, doesn"t like beauty to shine. It detracts so much from what it is trying to do. Create dark human less souls of us all. To replace the radiance that was born within all of us, by God. You spoke of nothing, but love and peace. Your light through your words, and music shone so bright. You"ve brought so much too so many, but only sought pure love for yourself. Your sensitivity brought ridicule. When all you wished most of all was to be embraced and understood.
I think what personally stood out to me most of all; was your tender nature. Envy in other people mistook that for weakness, when in reality it is strength. The force of who you were was so strong. Many people wish to have that, but could never achieve it.
We are all afforded different opportunities in life. Instead of being envious, they should have rejoiced with you, in your life.
Well that, and his sick perversions, his victimizing children, his personal dishonesty, his blatant rejection of his own race, and his making millions of people's flesh crawl. That his bubblegum-rock music was uninteresting to people who prefer more sophisticated music wasn't really a factor.
But yeah, it was mostly his "goodness."
Most of your comments seem directed TO Michael Jackson himself. He won't be reading them. I don't know if you heard or not, but he died. It cuts down on your reading time.
Drop by earth sometime.
I SAY THIS RESPECTFULLY TO YOU.YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO YOUR OPINIONS, AND I THANK YOU FOR VOICING THEM TO ME.. HOWEVER, I HAD HOPED THAT YOU AS A WRITER, WOULD HAVE RESPECTED MY RIGHT TO SPEAK MINE. ALTHOUGH, I DIDN'T EXPECT ALL PEOPLE TO AGREE WITH ME. I NAIVELY THOUGHT PEOPLE WOULD BE A BIT GENTLER TO THE DEAD.
I SENT YOU A COMMENT EARLIER. ALTHOUGH,I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'LL PERMIT IT TO BE POSTED OR NOT. I WROTE IT BEFORE I READ YOUR PROFILE. HAD I KNOW, A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU. I WOULD HAVE PERHAPS WRITTEN IT A BIT DIFFERENTLY. I WOULDN'T HAVE CHANGED MY MIND, BUT I WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIT MORE LENIENT TOWARDS YOU IN MY WORDING.
ALSO, IF YOU KNEW ABOUT MY LIFE, AND MY LIFE EXPERIENCES. YOU WOULD HAVE TO UNDERSTAND I WOULD NEVER CONDONE WHAT MR. JACKSON WAS ACCUSED OF. I WOULD NEVER ENDORSE OR WRITE SO ARDENTLY FOR SOMEONE TRIED FOR SOMETHING I BELIEVE IS SO INNATELY WRONG AND EVIL.
AS FOR THE ' DROP BY THE EARTH' COMMENT. TRUST ME. I KNOW I'M HERE ON EARTH . AS I SAID EARLIER. IN WHAT I'VE READ THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS JUST ABOUT MR. JACKSON., ALONE. I KNOW THIS ISN'T HEAVEN.
ONE MORE THING, IF YOU THINK HIS MUSIC WAS BUBBLEGUM. THAT IS YOUR RIGHT. HOWEVER IN MY OPINION ,HE WAS A GENIUS. FALLIBLE YES, MISGUIDED, AND LONELY TOO. NONETHELESS, BRILLIANT ALL THE SAME. TRULY GIFTED.
"Fly Away" to Peace and Heaven, My Dear Love, Michael

Hey Levine, you sure you're not Michael Musto's brother. From your pic and delectible comments , you could be twins. :)
I wasn't a fan. I don't care one way or the other, like most people.
>>>> we are ALL responsible for his tragic life and death.
Think of the number of jobs it could produce.
Unemployment could be cut in half just manufacturing "MY BROTHER SLEPT WITH MICHAEL JACKSON AND ALL I GOT IS THIS STINKING SHIRT" t-shirts,
And that's only for the children's sizes...
Mr. Jackson had serious problems in his life, but they might have been handled had YOU and WE not made it impossible for him to do so, chasing him into a netherworld existence where he could not even walk out his door or take his children anywhere, making it impossible for him to be able to trust anyone, or get decent medical or psychaitric care because reputable doctors were afraid they'd be dragged into the media spotlight with him.
I make no excuses for the crimes he may or may not have committed, or for the strangeness of his appearance, or for any of his other flaws. However, in addition to being an entertainment force and a musical genius, he was also a human being, and in some way, we are ALL responsible for his tragic life and death.
Jackson promoted himself in some of the most brazen ways. He loved extravagance and he loved attention. He could have been more circumspect; he chose exhibitionism. He could have presented himself using a more intelligent, healthier strategy--even if it meant less money.
We are ALL responsible for making responsible choices.
