Another beef against Jamie in the UK is his grammar and pronunciation, as well as his swearing. Jamie regularly mangles the Queen's English in the most appalling way. It is obviously an affectation, but very irritating. Who needs to say "behuh" (better), bew-ee (beauty) and mispronounce the most basic words when they are on t.v.? His grammar is absolutely dreadful. There is nothing at all wrong with Jamie's message, which is an excellent one. It is the way he delivers it that I take issue with. Jamie is rude, patronising and has an elevated idea of his own importance. That just puts peoples' backs up.

May i draw your attention to an episode of Wife Swap when seven year old King Curtis went ballistic when bossed around by a healthy eating fanatical mom?
