Video: Palin Doesn't Even Know What the VP Does

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

Wow. I hope Palin figures this out soon.

Here's a July 31, 2008 YouTube video post with McCain's VP running mate Sarah Palin asking :

"But as for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me: 'What is it exactly that the VP does everyday?'"

Here's the clip:

Isn't that a coincidence?? B. Hussein doesn't know what a Senator does!! (Well, he does know about earmarks!)

ofbbg--Isn't that a conincidence? Sarah Palin already is telling lies just like McCain, Bush, and cronnies. The man fired by Palin was on tv tonight revealing that he has emails as proof of how many times Palin and her husband contacted him about firing her former brother-in-law. When the b-i-l wasn't fired, Palin got rid of the supervisor. McCain should check out things, everything, before taking action. He should have seen this interview, too.

No we haven't noticed because we have been too busy noticing all the women bashing Palin as the VP pick because their intelligence have been insulted.

Well it /she/this is an insult to women in that context but I don't believe she was picked as VP choice to win I believe she was chosen as a last resort as in nobody else was interested.

I mean really, who can take this seriously..the choice I mean?.

People are tired and worn by the Republican party and their dangerous incompetent self serving policies and Barack Obama despite a biased corporate media agenda and a savage smear campaign launched by Hillary Clinton has beaten the odds.

Barack Obama draws crowds up to 84,000?
Barack Obama inspires.
Obama is fresh and offers people hope for something better.

Hope is better than no hope and fresh is better than decay.

The last eight years..?
Do the math.

Mitt Romney and others are wise to wait their time.

It's going to be perversely enjoyable to watch a depressed Republican convention.

Wow, that really was a Dan Quayle moment! Palin's job interview with McCain probably sounded like this: Golly gee I really do want to help out our wonderful government, but can someone answer for me "What is it exactly the VP does?" I can't believe she was fully vetted.

It seems as if it's par for the course for Republicans to NOT know the role of a VP.

Dan Quayle didn't know, and Cheney acts as if he IS the President.

Of Palin doesn't know anything about the job she has accepted to vied for WE ARE IN REAL TROUBLE.

Can you say Miss Congeniality? This really cannot be happening. She has gravitas of Miss America answering questions on world hunger and global warming. Madeleine Albright, where are you when we need you?

On May 12,1996: On Iraq Sanctions
Lesley Stahl: "We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?"
Sec. of State, Madeleine Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price--we think the price is worth it."
No, in the name of all decency, we do not need Madeleine Albright.

To be fair, even before Cheney came along the job of the VP was pretty hard to pin down.

OMG! Bear in mind folks that;
1: Sarah Palin is under CURRENT investigation, for abuse of the power of her office. ( befitting a republican)

Because this bears repeating;

1: Sarah Palin is under CURRENT investigation, for abuse of the power of her office. ( befitting a republican)

2: The vice president, is a heartbeat away from the presidency. (in McCains case, 1/4 of a heartbeat)

Palin was was a 1984 runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant, receiving a scholarship to attend the University of Idaho, where she received a journalism degree. After working as a sports reporter at an Anchorage television station, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska, City Council from 1992 to 1996, was elected mayor of Wasilla (population 5,470 in 2000) in 1996, and ran unsuccessfully for Lieutenant Governor in 2002. She was elected Governor of Alaska in 2006 .

Population AK., 2006 estimate 670,053, population of the USA 2006 299,398,484

The Mayors of these following US cities, have just as much "executive experience" as Sarah Palin!

Population of;
Fort Worth Texas 681,818
Memphis Tennessee 674,028
Charlotte North Carolina 671,588

Now, can you imagine how qualified the mayors of THESE cities would be!!

1 New York City New York 8,274,527
2 Los Angeles California 3,834,340
3 Chicago Illinois 2,836,658
4 Houston Texas 2,208,180
5 Phoenix Arizona 1,552,259
6 Philadelphia Pennsylvania 1,449,634
7 San Antonio Texas 1,328,984
8 San Diego California 1,266,731
9 Dallas Texas 1,240,499

It's a pretty big job!
Especially for a VP whose President gets up at 8:30, goes to bed at 7pm and needs a nap or else he gets cranky. She'd be in charge on all the weekends as well.

At least with a baby, she'd be up at 3am anyway, in case the phone rings.

Come on Obama this video in a TV attack ad about her!!!

This just shows us that Obama has ALOT more sound judgement over McCain yet again. Barack and Al Gore were proven right about Iraq and McCain and the other sheep fell for Bush/Cheney lies about the invasion.

This is the worse VP pick in modern history because McCain is an elderly man with bouts with a deadly skin cancer that if he wins might not finish out his term, then we are left with this out of touch woman that doesn't even know what a VP does. Wow republicans really know how to pick thier leaders.

Thank you McCain you gave Barack a gift today. :)

Nope, she did nothing wrong by firing that Commissioner and she wants to make sure that the VP slot is " a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans." Look at the slide show, also on HP. Notice anything wrong with McCains choice of VP candidate? Electing these two will be a step even further backwards than we are now.
