Wow. I hope Palin figures this out soon.

"But as for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me: 'What is it exactly that the VP does everyday?'"

Oh come on--Is that the best you can come up with? She was obviously making a joke. You've heard of "jokes," haven't you? I would hope we on the left would at least still have a sense of humor--although admittedly, it wasn't exactly the funniest quip I've ever heard a politician make--although I don't think she meant it to be--she was just trying to be a little witty. Anyway, there are a lot of other more important things to criticise her for than this off-hand remark.

I'm not convinced she was joking. She's on the record saying not only that she wants to keep her job as governor (a routine comment), but that she's not convinced the VP job is worth having.

With a 72 year old President with recurrent cancer, the VP will be a very important job should the worst of the worst happen and McCain is elected. Well, which is worse McCain being actually legalling elected or the Republicans stealing the election for McCain as they did for Bush?

Then she is the perfect fit. Her humor and McSame's humor will offer loads of laughter. Actually, I think she was serious. Her exposure is limited to Alaska. My kid's high school is more populous than the town where she was mayor.
