Professor Marrar has taught political science, history, international studies, and religion. While specializing in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Islamic political thought, his research interests include international relations, ancient and modern philosophy, American culture, foreign policy, global organizations and institutions, and terrorism. He has served in editorial positions at the Arab Studies Quarterly and the Association of Arab-American University Graduates. Marrar is the author of The Arab Lobby and US Foreign Policy: The Two State Solution, Reforming Islam: The Challenge of Islamist Political Thought, a book in progress, and is in the process of coauthoring an article entitled “The Choice: Exiting Iraq via Iran.”
