007 Tips To Dress Like Bond!

There's been a sudden drop in the Bond market!

No, you won't read about it on the financial page -- this one involves Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston, who'd been considered the favorite to succeed Daniel Craig in the iconic role of James Bond, secret agent 007.

But Taylor Swift's latest beau appears to be officially out of the running, according to spy thriller writer Frederick Forsyth -- who claims producer Barbara Broccoli won't choose Hiddleston to succeed Daniel Craig in the much-coveted role.

Hollywood is certainly shaken, not stirred over the continuing speculation about the next James Bond, with candidates ranging from Idris Elba to -- believe it or not -- Robbie Williams!

Although Idris gets Director Stephen Spielberg's vote the Luther star hinted he may not be right for the part. "I think I am too old for that -- running around in cars and ladies and martinis," he laughed.

Who knows, Daniel Craig may even return for one more round. But no matter who gets the role, one thing is certain -- he'll have a wardrobe to die for.

"You've heard the expression, 'Clothes make the man?' " asks award-winning Savile Row tailor Alexandra Wood.

"When it comes to James Bond, clothes are the man -- and you can see that in every Bond from Sean Connery through to Daniel Craig!"

In other words, the new 007 will not only be licensed to kill -- he will be dressed to thrill.

"The great thing about it is that it's a deceptively simple look -- nothing flashy, nothing loud, nothing over the top," says Alexandra.

"Smooth lines, cool colours. James Bond is a guy who has it all, a true English gent when it comes to style -- a style that says he means business!"

But what about the action hero body? "Well, obviously it helps if you have a great physique but the joy of a bespoke suit is that it can hide a multitude of sins," laughs Alexandra. "My customers leave here looking taller, slimmer and more confident."

Alexandra, whose Savile Row clients have graced GQ's best dressed list, says that any man can pull off that same Bond style, without breaking the bank.

"Iconic Bond is the look most of my clients want to emulate. It's a look that is a lot easier than you might think to pull off. In fact, recently I have noticed an increase in the number of grooms wanting to create a Bondesque look for their big day."

From Dr. No to Spectre, James Bond has never put a foot wrong in the style stakes. Here are Alexandra's top 007 must-haves for a Bond wardrobe that's held up for more than half a century:

001. One classic black bow tie
002. Sharp grey bespoke tonic suit
003. A pair of silver cufflinks
004. A fitted black two piece bespoke dinner suit, with a shawl lapel made in a heavy weight fabric.
005. Crisp white shirt, with concealed buttons
006. One white pocket square
007. A pair of patent black dress shoes

Oh! And don't forget the Aston Martin!
