There aren't many things more disturbing than watching a bunch of stodgy white Republicans mechanically bop around to the beat of Earth Wind & Fire's "Dancin' in September." But it was a necessary evil in order to be sure and hear from McCain's pick for President -- once he knocks...

Posted July 28, 2008 | 06:11 AM (EST)

Watching Sean Hannity smile and nod on Fox News Monday night while Newt Gingrich attempted to brush off presidential candidate Mike Huckabee's defense of a convicted (and brutal) rapist, I was further stunned that in the next breath, he began promoting Gingrich's Rediscovering God in America book and documentary. Double-Whammy: U.S. Healthcare Hits Us Up One Side and Down the Other

Posted December 2, 2007 | 09:33 PM (EST)

A medical student wrote an op-ed in the New York Times on Sunday making a few good points, but mostly just revealing her naiveté about what American's really need. She complains that a policy of New York's Governor Spitzer gives "requirements that all individual and small-group plans cover services...
