Lamell McMorris is a political consultant in Washington, D.C. He is the 33-year-old Founder and CEO of Perennial Strategy Group, a bi-partisan government relations and consulting firm. Prior to starting Perennial, he was the Executive Director and CEO of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and has also served as director of the Chicago Urban League's Youth Development Initiative, a fellow to U.S. Representative Jesse Jackson Jr., and has worked extensively with the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, NAACP, and National Action Network. In addition to his political consulting duties, he is also the spokesman for the National Basketball Referees Association, the coalition of NBA referees.
