GET UPDATES FROM Lance Armstrong
Lance Armstrong is a father, cycling champion and cancer survivor and advocate. In 1997, he was a 25 year-old world-class cyclist facing a struggle for his life against testicular cancer that had spread to his brain and lungs. He aggressively educated himself about his diagnosis and treatment. Declaring himself a cancer survivor rather than a victim, he beat the disease despite overwhelming odds. During his battle he created LIVESTRONG® to support fellow survivors. In the years since its creation, LIVESTRONG has supported the fight against cancer by raising awareness and more than $400 million for the cause and working to erase the stigma that surrounds the disease on behalf of the 28 million cancer survivors worldwide.
