Remember when simply questioning the pre-build up to the Iraq war instantaneously transformed someone into a traitor? Sometimes, if this became too repetitive, the term traitor would be substituted with the term unpatriotic to describe anyone who dared question anything or who dared to express dissenting views.

It need not matter that suppressing dissenting views is un-Constitutional. Logic is not at work with this "talking points" crowd, who are so unable to think for themselves that they cannot function without having little sticker-type distinctions and color coded directives.

The word liberal became yet another label for something no one could define but they would gladly "lock and load" anyone who might be "one of them"

It need not matter that there are no so called "Conservatives" or so called "Christians" at the helm of our sinking ship, whatever they are in reality is irrelevant just as long as the pretty stickers are applicable. Pretty stickers are best when they come in expensive packages.

Now it seems that if one even questions the absolute disregard and lack of leadership shown to the victims of NO, the new talking point is race- baiter.

I remember that great little saying that parents tell their children in order to teach them the insignificance of insults: "sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me."

It seems there should be a caveat with that little dictum, because "names will hurt" if one fears them enough. Sadly, by silencing entire groups of people, "names" will even destroy nations.

Note to Readers: I only manage to really post an opinion here once a week. The amount of posting I have done in the last few days is highly unusual given my day job and side job, and well, 24/7 job. So I apologize in advance if I seem to be MIA. I am in fact, a busy little bee. But I will continue to post my weekly opinion here as best as I can.
