It was frustrating to ask questions of candidate Sarah Palin during the statewide public television debate for governor in November 2006.

Avoiding the question, she instead reminded voters she was not the dreaded, unpopular, disliked Governor Frank Murkowski, who she had beat in the Republican primary a few months earlier.
