Laura Brown joined Harper’s Bazaar in 2005. In addition to booking all of Bazaar’s covers, Laura puts the fun back in fashion: sending The Simpsons to Paris to meet designers like Donatella Versace and Marc Jacobs; producing a satire of society’s obsession with rehab culture starring actress Chloe Sevigny – even convincing celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe go from size 0 to size 8. . . with the help of some padding and photo technology. Most recently, she digitally aged Leighton Meester to express how to be fabulous at every age, reframed supermodel-turned-talk-show-superstar Tyra Banks as America’s First Lady, cast Ed Westwick and Helena Christiansen as a modern-day Mrs. Robinson and her toy-boy, sent America’s most famous designers to Sesame Street, spoofed The Hills with the help of Jonah Hill, and talked to Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker and Halle Berry about how they keep their mojo.

Before joining Harper’s Bazaar, Laura was Articles Director at Details, and Senior Editor at W. Before she relocated to NY from Australia in 2001, she was Features Editor at Harper’s Bazaar Australia.
