Laura K. Chapin is a Democratic communications consultant based in Denver, Colorado. She served as Deputy Communications Director for Gov. Bill Ritter's 2006 campaign, and as a speechwriter/media relations officer on his staff, including the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Before moving to God's Country in late 2005, she spent more than a decade advocating for progressive causes and Members of Congress in Washington, DC.
