Yes, the offensive line did an outstanding job, but Dallas' total of zero sacks also speaks to Eli's ever-improving savvy back there.

The Yankees will probably clinch a playoff spot on the first day of fall. Detractors will say "sure, they bought themselves in." But to be fair, they've been buying and buying since 2000 and it hasn't paid dividends.

Under the heading of "why didn't I think of that" there's now a fantasy football league for "off the field" infractions. If your player leads police on a high speed chase, that's worth 175 points.

Lots of people are criticizing NYC for sending Plaxico Burress to prison. But here are the facts:
In 1987 NYC had 2,016 murders
In 1997 NYC had 1,093 murders
In 2007 NYC had 801 murders. During which time the population increased by almost 1.5 million.
Who couldn't love those statistics? But how did that remarkable improvement take place? Largely through the passage of gun laws and ENFORCEMENT of those laws. It's truly unfortunate Burress didn't get the message that things aren't the same as in Pittsburgh where a Steeler can write his own rules. But as a result of its strict enforcement of strict laws, NYC is a much safer place than it used to be. And 19 million people benefit from that.
agreed....they have to enforce tough gun laws.
Both tragedies for human beings. No awareness of Divine Geometry in the Cosmos. Very sad.
No justice there
