Hydroxycut doesn't only harm the liver, it makes you aggressive and anxious when taking it.

Hmmm...maybe NOW somebody will listen to me when I talk about how truly effective health care reform MUST begin with a reform of the FDA and pharmaceutical companies who produce these drugs, BEFORE we start to haggle over how much people are willing to pay for drugs that are killing us?

How many American died last year from taking prescription drugs, as prescribed?

I think the AMA will admit 100,000. So multiply that number by 5 to get the real number.

When people take some product with mysterious ingredients to lose weight superfast, they shouldn't be surprised to it is causing their internal organs harm, superfast.

I am a big believer of TAKING NOTHING!!!! All of that stuff will kill you slowly. I am big believer that you should only take drugs when absolutely necessary, pot excluded because that is a minimally processed plant from the ground. And I don't even use pot, but I think it is relatively harmless. These legal drugs however, most of them are toxic garbage.

Why does the FDA allow statins? These drugs are massively harmful, yet have no proven benefits, just questionable research by the company that is making the huge profits.

"yet have no proven benefits." Is that right? You could at least cite one source from a peer-reviewed scientific/medical journal.

You are kidding right? NoMoreDead?

This is causing damage, being taken AS RECOMMENDED. Deaths from aspirin, alcohol, and prescriptions is always related to misuse of them, abuse of them, not being used in moderation.
Cigs, well they have the warning labels all over them.

Hydroxycut does not state "May cause permanent liver damage when used as directed"!!!

Not true. NSAIDs (non-steriodal anti-inflammatory drugs) kill approximately 16,500 per YEAR, and taking the "recommended dosage" isn't a sure preventative. What nobody tells you is that EVERY dose causes minor hemorrhaging in the stomach lining, but a person in good health can usually heal this damage with no ill effects. Now take that same medication, even in moderation, over 40 years. The accumulated damage catches up to you, and eventually one dose too many can lead to serious hemorrhaging and death. The only safe alternative is to not take these drugs or take them VERY infrequently. I haven't had a pain pill in over 2 1/2 years, and before that, about once a year for ten years running.

We need a little "truth in marketing" here. NSAID is a very broad classification, which includes Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and VIOXX. Obviously, Aspirin and Ibuprofen are quite harmless, and do not cause stomach hemorrhaging.

I'm sure Merck's accounting and marketing people would like you to believe that VIOXX is as safe as other non-prescription over-the-counter medications like Aspirin, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Not true, aspirin is well known to cause liver and kidney damage that can lead to death for long term use. And that's legal, over the counter aspirin. We won't even talk about Rx drugs. And no it's not just in people who "abuse" them, it's people who take the recommended doses for long periods of time,

That's quiet a strange concoction of stuff to take all at once...lets see....maybe one or two people die from taking aspirine, alcohol, cigs, and prescription drugs all at once?

you don't have to take them all at once. Any of those substances can kill you, even in moderation, if used for a long period of time. Yes, even aspirin or tylenol causes kidney and liver damage if used in high (but doctor recommended) doses over the course of 20 or 30 years
