I ardently oppose the death penalty. It is cruel, barbaric, antiquated, with no place in civilized society. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. That said, this dude is guilty as sin. He should not be a poster boy for the anti-death penalty campaign.

I oppose execution in all its forms, and I support the freedom of Troy Davis. But the statistics used in this video do not prove anything. What do the victims of murders in capital cases have anything to do with this one case of a man who was wrongly convicted and sentenced to execution? It might have something to do with how their murderers were sentenced to execution, but even that would be a loose connection at best. It could just as easily mean that white on white crime is prosecuted more harshly than black on black et al. We would need further statistics in order to really understand anything.

I understand this video was well-intentioned. But good intentions must coincide with good facts.

I can't understand why conservatives think they're any good to society. I am a balck man, and I've known the point this post makes was fact for a while. Obama's election means NOTHING people!!! The same day he was elected, a minority had it's constitutional rights taken away. Listen to all the vitriol spewed about Obama, and how they "want their country back". Back from what? I don't support the invented right of the State to murder anyone. It's barbaric and immoral, plain and simple.
