Lee Fisher has devoted his life to public service, from the Ohio State Senate and Cleveland's Center for Children and Families to Lieutenant Governor with Ted Strickland. Among his proudest accomplishments are bills addressing auto safety, missing children, and hate crimes, along with hundreds of thousands of jobs created or retained as Ohio's Director of Development. He is currently running to replace the retiring Sen. George Voinovich (R) as U.S. Senator.

Lee earned his Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and both his law degree and his Master's in Non-Profit Organization from Case Western Reserve University. When Lee sets his mind to it, no obstacle stands in his way for long -- the Cincinnati Post has specifically lauded his "doggedness and ability to cut across political lines to reach his goals."

Why Cram-Down Must Pass

Posted September 10, 2009 | 10:31:02 (EST)

My hometown of Cleveland has long struggled with the closing of steel mills, the loss of manufacturing jobs, and rising unemployment -- but it was a punch in the gut to see our city featured in the New York Times magazine under the headline, "All boarded up: How Cleveland is...
