Anchorage TV Station: Sarah Palin Was "Definitely Pregnant" With Trig

I spoke to Cherie Shirey, Assignment Manager for TV station KTVA in Anchorage and she made the following statement...

"These internet rumors are very bizarre. We worked with Governer Palin many times in 2008. Our reporters worked her on location and in the studio and I worked with her myself. She was definitely pregnant. You could see it in her belly and her face. The whole idea that Sarah Palin wasn't pregnant with Trig is completely, absolutely absurd. "

It's a KTVA reporter in this picture with Governor Palin. Shirey confirmed the photo was taken in April, 2008.

Update: The picture was taken in 2008. This is confirmed.

However, a commentator points out that according to this link from Flickr, the picture WASN'T taken in 2008 but in fact seems to have been taken in March, 2005.

Here's why the March, 2005 is wrong - that camera wasn't announced until the end of July 2005. So now the conspiracy involves TIME TRAVEL, as well!

The time problem is why I called in the first place. The photo is from when Palin was Governor, end of the 2008 session, multiple witnesses, video tape...all the things sane people need to come to reasonable conclusions.

The incorrect 2005 date is easily explained - they didn't set the date correctly. I've done that. Look at these Piroshkis that Flickr says I took digital photos of in 1972, when I was seven years old! Those things are delish, by the way.

Alright. Game over! Here is the damning evidence for Bristol being the mother of Trig (i.e. this new one is her second one and mother Sarah is trying to cover up by claiming Trig is her own baby which stands on real shaky ground--12 hour trip from Texas to Alaska with amniotic fluid leaking):

Translation: there were loud rumors of Bristol being pregnant before March 5, 2008, the day when Sarah Palin announced her own pregnancy. That means, either (a) Bristol is now at least 7-8 months pregnant (and not 5 months as claimed by today's announcement) OR (b) she was very pregnant (hence rumors) then and gave birth to Trig on April 12 after which she fell pregnant once again (and makes her "about" 5 months pregnant now).

The problem is that Bristol Palin had "mono" at the time of "mom's" pregnancy. Maybe you are too young to remember, but when I was growing up, a teenage (usually Catholic) girl with "mono" was pregnant.

There was a copy of a traffic ticket issued to Bristol while she had "mono".

I agree with Barack in that families should be off limits. My main issue was that it's impossible to state unequivocally that Trig is not Bristol's child given what we know today. Other than that, I don't really have any real interest in this story.

However, I do find it interesting that the majority of those who are saying this is a non issue have just registered on HuffPo. Can you say "damage control"?

Confirming the facts is great. That still leaves open the lack of judgement of a person who has started labor and decides to head to the airport and hop on a plane for over eight hours so she could give birth in Alaska. She not only risked the her health but the further health of the baby who was already expected to be born with Downs. I don't care that she called her doctor and he okayed it, I would have not even taken the chance. Pregnancies are extremely unpredictable and anything could have happened while on her way home.

And it's not just a matter that she went into early labor, which may not have, but that she was suffering preterm prerupture of membranes which can signify risks to the fetus' viral health and organ development. For the health of the child, professional guidelines call for immediate in-patient treatment, with out-patient care considered only after in person fetal examination.

I still have not heard Palin deny the rumor about the fake pregnancy nor has she offered any proof to refute it. The rumor was never about her daughter's pregnancy, it was about Palin faking a pregnancy to cover up for a past pregnancy of her daughter. The issue for me is Sarah Palin's choices - not her judgment. I respect and admire her choice to have a special needs child - and her support for her teenage daughter. However, I question how she'll be able to offer either the time and attention they'll need after choosing to accept a slot on the McCain ticket, as well. Perhaps if she were the last, best hope for her country, it would be defensible. But she's not. There were more qualified candidates without an infant with special needs or a pregnant teenage daughter. I would feel the same about a man making these choices.

See - grownups understand they can't have everything and make choices accordingly. It seems to me, her family needs her more than her country.

When my wifes water broke, they would not even let us go home to get a change of clothing... Though a couple weeks early, he seeming must have torn the sack with a fingernail, as the water fully broke during the delivery....
Regardless, once that surrounding sack is ruptured in any way, there is to much danger in infection... The Doctor was called, and labor was induced, and our son is 21 now...

PS... It was more painfull to her, but being a strong empath, I think was harder on me... LOL... I coached and coaxed her all the way and got to cut the cord myself... However, I said at the time, I was not sure I would ever want to put a woman through that again... She said give the memory time to fade and she would do so again...
