WATCH : This Health Bill Is America's Worst Nightmare

What's Your Reaction:

The danger in the current health care bill is so great that a clear majority of people paying attention to it are opposed to its passage. But this lobbyist funded sellout of our citizens to the health insurance industry is being pushed through Congress while most Americans are finishing the work week, last minute Christmas shopping or traveling.

It's America's worst nightmare - a corrupt fusion of the federal government's power of coercion acting as muscle to require the entire nation to become involuntary customers for the private insurance companies that are responsible for ruining our health care system.

I'm just one person. I made this video in the middle of the night because I see what's happening and I had to say something. I don't expect this video to effect the outcome that was determined months ago in backroom deas. But I had to say something.

Great video Lee. I hope alot of people view it. It's short, to the point and should be run on TV. I've always enjoyed your work.

This bill is positively evil as it will make insurance companies even more powerful and will force people into being their slaves. No matter what spin they put on it this bill is a tribute to a totally corrupt political system overseen by a weak disinterested president.

I am currently "OK" with the current system, through luck. This new bill will do nothing for me. I wanted a public option or medicare buy in, so I would no longer be a slave to employment. But, the oligarchy want us to all be slaves or cattle.

I have worked and saved all my life. I am 55. I could easily retire, but cannot trust the health insurance companies, so will continue to work until I am 65. If I could retire, I would probaby try to start my own small business. But that is too risky, as my life would be on the line.

The USA is a regressive nation. It is sad, but I have lost all faith and pride in my nation. It would be better if the USA were to split into separate countries. Then at least some of them might be able to produce functional legislatures.

As to support of the pending Senate Bill Part 2:

Having a public option within the exchanges was the original reason for having the exchanges!!!

However, the public option has been nearly killed, yet the exchange model has been maintained. This essentially turns current Insurance Companies from state monopolies into Cartels. The Insurance lobby has therefore been able to take an amazingly good thing, in the exchanges, and turn it completely to their favor. The critical issue was one of affordability and cost controls. An accessible public option within the exchanges would provide an independent minimum level of premium cost and coverage and real competition to private plans. Further, it also have a naturally desired capitalist effect of driving down costs. What we will have if the Senate Bill passes: Solely private exchanges, run on an individual state not Federal level, with admittedly more private choices, that actually legally allow and encourage the Insurance companies to continue to fix prices amongst themselves. In reality no competition is provided, but by maintaining the illusion of competition within the exchanges, it allows proponents to still claim cost controls. Brilliant strategic move.

Last Year 3.3 Billion Spent by Lobbyists. This year they are on a pace to shatter this record. In simpler terms that is approximately 7 thousand-million dollars spent.

Mr. Stranahan, very powerful message:

As to support of the pending Senate Bill part 1:

Top 4 Insurance Industry Stocks up 31% since October.

Insurance Industry allowed to keep "Anti-Trust" Exemption granted to them in 1945. This means that they are still the only US Industry outside of Major League Baseball that can legally fix prices and engage in uncompetitive practices. "Anti-Trust Law is also know as "Competition" Law.

Drug Importation Bill that would have allowed for Americans to purchase cheaper Pharmaceuticals abroad and provided increased competition to American Pharmaceutical companies was killed. This was a key pillar of reform and would have potentially saved struggling Americans billions.
