Leslie Blanco is a writer and a dog trainer. Her short stories and essays
have appeared in: Maisonneuve Magazine, failbetter.com,The Vanderbilt Review and Versus Magazine. She has been a resident of Centrum Center for the Arts and of Blue Mountain Artist Colony, and she is the recipient of the Carnelia Carhart Fellowship from Syracuse University. She has an MFA in creative writing from Warren Wilson College and she trains dogs (to obey) and humans (to write creatively) in West Los Angeles. She is currently finishing up her first novel.
