Galápagos wildlife is famous for lacking an instinct to flee human presence. Oftentimes sea lions will jump off the rocks where they're sunning themselves to swim with snorkelers. Blue-footed boobies will build nests in the middle of a trail, and then rear their chicks oblivious to the inconvenience they've caused hikers who must divert around them. It's a place where you can get close-ups of wildlife without a zoom lens. Every photo was shot on a Lindblad-National Geographic Galápagos expedition.
