Last week's slideshow featuring the 90s revival was so popular that I couldn't put it to bed quite yet. The slides in this show were inspired by your comments, by my closet, and by what TiVo decides to record. This time we're taking a look at gas prices, TV shows, and one hot woman that keeps getting hotter. Behold, the 90s Slideshow, Part Deux.

This highlights one thing that drives me nuts...the way Hollywood seems to have run out of NEW ideas. We're constantly seeing remakes of old movies (The Women, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory etc.) and old TV shows (Star Trek, Knight Rider, etc.). It seems that these days they just look to the past as a way of trying to make a quick buck, rather than actually THINKING of something new.

Thanks
We keep hearing about one or the other Clinton, so it must still be the 90's.
Jennifer Alright !!!
Brad Pitt made a Big Boo Boo !!!
1) Hey, we're still not through our '80s nostalgia!
2) Damn, I never thought I'd miss the '90s but the slide-show hit the right chord.
3) I knew Terminator 3 had been a dud: Taking the storyline away from John Connor and making his girlfriend the "real" hero, against everything they had built up in the previous two movies. "Hey, we've hyped needlessly in the first two movies; this character whom you never heard about is the real threat to Skynet!" Wonder why that didn't work.
WHAAAATTTTT???? Including a new Star Trek pic without the amazing Simon Pegg???? He's the only reason I'm going to see the new one.
But thanks for the blast from the past. I recently dug out my old Nirvana and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion CDs, too. Anyone want to come over for popcorn and My Own Private Idaho on VHS?
GHAAAA!

How ironic. Here I sit with bed head and I am in a flannel shirt in front of my Mac. Let's not let the GOP get away with harassing the president this time though. The Monica thing was a mistake but not worth all the attention it got. And this time: affordable health care is gonna make it. I don't care if it is "socialism". Socialism looks better than Plutocracy.
Meh. None of the returning things so far have been worth much.
The new GnR album is dull and over-produced, the new 90210 is dull and uninteresting, Jennifer Anniston just did that cover to be the creepy ex-wife stalker so she could bad-mouth the second wife and gas is only priced low until the Big 3 bail out is done and people start to buy Gas Guzzlers again.
Let's not forget the forgettable Terminator 3 which also came out this decade (which never did get a name) and "come back" albums by Vixen, Harem Scarem, Dio, Queesryche, White Snake and countless other 80s-90s bands that nobody cared about.
humm intresting ...you know your old when trends creep back up on you. I was a young tender n the 90's...I'm still young...no t so tender now though
