I'm really digging that Cocoa Loco one. Anything with chocolate and I'm instantly interested.

Just get a big, honkin' bottle of Jagermiester. It's great for any occasion and guaranteed to make you stupid by the end of the night.

Wow I have never enjoyed spiced/mulled anything and always felt like that punch bowl was there just for looks.
I am a fan of any liquor that mixes with milk. I've been drinking SoCo Milk Punch at Christmas since I was a teen. Simple and so good just Southern Comfort, powdered sugar to taste in milk (or half and half)..shaken with ice and poured over ice. Like the best snow ice cream ever!
Outside of a true eggnog with a top notch bourbon it's the best holiday drink...IMHO.
Happy Holidays and cheers!

How reckless of HP!  In an era where tens of thousands, nay hundreds of thousands, of our nation's children are dying by drinking the toxic "Four Loko" type brews, HP has the nerve to promote caffine infused beverages!  On a website that could theoretically be seen by children no less!

I call for a nation wide ban on all chocolate or candy flavored alochol.  Who's with me!

That's idiotic. It's called self control and parental responsibility. Good grief.

huffnpuff's attempt to be cool by pushing booze just fell off the bar stool for suggesting anyone over the age of 6 put peppermint candy into an alcoholic drink. bad enough to glamorize adult booze, but candy canes are strictly kid stuff.

You sound like a real fun person to be around, sabctimoniously pointing fingers and judging all the time. Candy canes are strictly kid stuff? Yea I'm sure the millions of people who like peppermint would disagree with you. Glamorizing adult booze? What is this, the Prohibition?

I hate everyone who can enjoy any of these drinks, because I can't for the next 4 months.

Why did I even bother to look at this article...now I'm depressed.

I get Mulling Spice from Juliet Mae Spices. You simmer it on the stove for about 45 minutes and the whole house smells like cinnamon and orange. Kids love it but it also tastes great as an adult beverage.

My mother had an old book that contained the mulling spice recipe that Charles Dickens enjoyed. It's very easy, and I've made this every year for the past couple of decades. It's very simple and straightforward and very easy and just delicious. I'm happy to share the recipe if anyone wants it.
