Help Bring Tina Fey to the Wolverines!

John McCain has abandoned Michigan. But the Cute One, Gov GILF herself, "fired off a quick email and said, 'Oh come on, do we have to?'" Palin added that she was not ready to give up on Michigan and that she and Todd would "be happy" to campaign in this great state.

Simple Sarah says it should surprise no one she disagrees with the McCain on strategy regarding Michigan, saying they are "a team of mavericks. Of course we're not gonna agree on everything." You betcha.

Now local Republicans have started a petition to bring Sarah Palin back to Lansing. Or Grand Rapids. Or anywhere in the state, really.

Well gosh darn it, the Democrats are showin' their own maverick spirit, reachin' across the aisle to help their Republican friends and do 'em one better by bringin' Tina Fey to Michigan.*wink*
