Lloyd Greif is a widely respected investment banker. Perceiving the need for a top-notch investment banking firm to serve the corporate finance needs of entrepreneurially owned and operated middle market growth companies, he launched Greif & Co. in 1992.

Mr. Greif is chairman of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation

(LAEDC), chairman of the Advisory Council of the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at USC, a member of both the Board of Directors of USC Associates and the Marshall School's Board of Leaders, a member of the Board of Overseers of Loyola Law School, Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Florence Academy of Art.

A frequent public speaker, he is an internationally recognized authority in the field of mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. Greif has been featured in such publications as Forbes, Fortune, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times, on such broadcast media as CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and NPR.

Mr. Greif holds degrees in economics (BA - University of California at Los Angeles), entrepreneurship (MBA -University of Southern California) and law (JD - Loyola Law School). In 2002, Mr. Greif received the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award from the Boy Scouts of America, in 2000 the Corporate Excellence Award from Loyola Law School and in 1999 a commendation from the City of Los Angeles for his “dedication and outstanding contributions to the Los Angeles community.”
