Louise Nayer, writer and educator, has published four books, most recently Burned: A Memoir (Atlas and Co.), listed as one of ten upcoming titles in Oprah Magazine, a finalist for the USA Book News Award and winner of the 2010 Wisconsin Library Literary award. She received six California Arts Council grants and was a Professor of English Composition, Literature and Creative Writing at City College of San Francisco for over twenty five years.
