TV presenter and fashion journalist, Louise Roe, 29, fronts both the U.S. and UK versions of her makeover show, Plain Jane, (CW network and MTV). The format sees her guide a shy wallflower each week through the daunting gauntlet of fashion, make-up, dating skills and facing their biggest fear; it airs in 66 countries around the globe. Louise fronted MTV International’s red carpet coverage of the 2011 Movie Awards, VMA’s and EMA’s, and co-hosted E!’s live coverage of the Royal Wedding.


She pens monthly style columns for UK’s glossy magazine Company, for Microsoft News MSN, and StylistPick, a successful online retailer for which she has designed a debut collection of shoes and jewelry for Fall 2011. Louise also launched her namesake clothing line for retail giant HSN, a collection designed to flatter women’s curves, no matter their shape or size.


As a cast member of MTV’s The City, Louise put her fashion journalism skills to use, hosting trend videos and designer interviews for Elle.com. A regular face on E! Entertainment’s red carpets and Fashion Police, she co-hosted the channel’s biggest show of the year: Live from the Oscars, its dating show: Perfect Catch, and performed makeovers as a guest on Chelsea Lately. 
Born in the UK but based in LA, Louise presented BBC’s documentary Addicted to Boob Jobs and long-standing style series The Clothes Show, before moving stateside.

The face of Italian fashion label Hogan, she fronted campaigns for Adidas and Bloomingdales in 2010, and has featured as a guest host or judge on Britain’s Next Top Model, NBC’s The Nate Berkus Show, GMTV, Project Catwalk, Style Network’s How Do I Look?, 10 Things I Hate About Me, and Make Me a Supermodel. Louise has written for Elle, Vogue.com, In Style, Glamour, and Cosmopolitan magazine.
 She also volunteers for children’s literacy charity BookPals, Dressed For Success, and she is an honorary fellow at Southhampton’s Solent University where she lectures fashion students twice a year. Louise is currently brand ambassador for Range Rover, StylistPick.com and has worked frequently with global brands including Macy’s, Mark&Spencer, Gap’s Piperlime, Bebe, Sears, Alfa Romeo and Littlewoods (the UK’s third largest online retailer).
