Thanks to Lyn Goldfarb and Carol Newton of CD33 North for Change for this information.
October 15, twelve people were arrested in an act of civil disobedience at Blue Cross Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, protesting the health care insurance profiteering at the expense of providing for the health care of patients. Blue Cross refused to meet with the protestors.
Please look at the video and let the health care insurance companies know that enough is enough, that we need real health care reform. And please circulate the video to everyone you know.

A strong public option is the ONLY way to end the soul-less profiteering by the leeches in the FOR-PROFIT health insurance racket. Support Rep. Anthony Weiner's online petition at:

Thank you, all.
Those protesters are really scary. I'm glad we have lots and lots of police to protect us.
Sam Pullen, 31, who is featured in the video above, was arrested last week in Los Angeles at a sit-in at the Blue Cross health insurance office. Pullen is refusing to give information to police, vowing to stay in jail until Blue Cross stops denying care to those who need it most. He is being supported by the group Mobilization for Health Care for All, which coordinated sit-ins and rallies in nine cities across the country yesterday in which 54 people were arrested to end insurance abuse and win health care for all.
Pullen's story is today's featured story on the progressive blog OpEdNews - www.opednews.com.
For more information on Sam Pullen, or to learn how you can join him and risk arrest for health care for all, please visit the Mobilization for Health Care for All website at www.mobilizeforhealthcare.org.
