Luke Barclay
Luke Barclay studied History at the University of Sheffield, before spending two years in rural Japan, teaching English on the JET (Japan Exchange & Teaching) Program. After returning to the UK he joined the BBC, where he spent a number of years working in factual programme making.

He is the author of "A Loo with a View" (Virgin 2008), "Good Loo Hunting" (Virgin 2010) and "A Loo with a View: Sights You Can See from the Comfort of a Convenience" (Firefly 2011), the North American edition which combines the two. Despite appearances, he does have other interests in life apart from latrines... e.g. sinks, bidets and, of course, taps.
