If women nationwide are the real swing vote as suggested by the media, then let's take a good look at the First Lady contenders. Skip the stick part and just think lips -- whose lips will best suit the White House?
In the history of the United States, all the lips of the great First Ladies were full. I'm not saying they were pillowed like Angelina Jolie's, but they were pretty, plump, presidential. All except one. The only First Lady with thin lips was Republican Lou Henry Hoover, whose husband, Herbert, was the least popular president in history (until W). Those skinny First Lady lips helped Herbie preside over the nation as it slid into the Great Depression. Sort of like now. But this time, we can fight back. No more emaciated kissers for us.
Check out the lips of Republican Cindy McCain. Nothing wrong with her Barbie looks or her costly clothes or the glittering bling. I noticed that she has taken to biting the inside of her mouth while "Father Time" McCain is pitching to people that Wall Street should be regulated after he has supported deregulation for decades. Why, anybody'd bite the inside of their mouth listening to those lies. Or perhaps I should be politically correct and call an outright lie "disingenuous." We should change the old saying to "Disingenuous, disingenuous, pants on fire."
The second pair of nominee lips in contention this year are those of Democrat Michelle Obama. They're about as lush as you can get this side of Democratic First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Seems to me they'd fit in quite nicely in the House once occupied by those iconic Kennedy lips.
Jack Kemp, rich dude and major Republican supporter of John McCain, said "Republicans many times can't get the words 'equality of opportunity' out of their mouths. Their lips do not form that way."
That's reason enough to keep Cindy's thin ones out of the White House.
