Since it's still scorching outside, why not take a little time to cool off and relax with a tiny umbrella and an 8 oz. vacation in a glass? A more grown-up juice punch, Sangria has become an increasingly popular summer drink because of its refreshing finish. This summer favorite is one of the many food and drink classics that we owe to Spain, but can now be found in many forms at bars and restaurants around the world.
A classic Sangria consists of either a red or white wine, a sweetener, seltzer or lemon-lime soda, and a choice of fruit to add an extra hint of sweetness. Here, we feature variations on the classic sangria; choose sangria recipes with ingredients to pair with Spanish dishes, or pair with any dish at your BBQ or picnic.
