New Vote Strategy for '08?

Wouldn't an election with McCain in it be far superior to one without?

An unusual group emerged this week with a process to elevate the 2008 election, although not a candidate. Called Unity08, it will be in place should the current polarized and broken system, which gives inordinate power to a handful of voters in Iowa and New Hampshire, produce a candidate who can't win in the general (Sen. Hillary Clinton) and eliminate the candidate who could (Sen. John McCain, no matter how many times he hugs George W. Bush and cozies up to Jerry Falwell). Wouldn't an election with McCain in it be far superior to one without?
