Margunn Bjørnholt is a sociologist based in Oslo, Norway. She is an expert on work–family arrangements and gender equality, and, in particular, men's role and agency in social change towards more egalitarian work–family arrangements. She is currently director of Policy and Social Research, and has formerly been a researcher at the University of Oslo and the Work Research Institute, as well as a civil servant and business consultant involved in the promotion of female entrepreneurship. She has served as a national expert on gender equality to the European Commission and is Vice President of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights.
