Mari Michener Oye lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she can often be found driving, running, or cross country skiing in circles. Once in a while she gets her bearings and heads for a destination, climbing Mount Katahdin each summer and canoeing on local rivers. Mari spends much of her time volunteering for the Arghand Project, an agricultural development cooperative in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Mari is a freshman in Timothy Dwight College at Yale, where she plans to study Political Science despite her rough introduction to the subject in Washington this spring.
