Mark Feierstein is the USAID Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean. He has 25 years of experience working on issues involving development and Latin America and the Caribbean. Before joining USAID, Feierstein served as principal and vice president at the international polling firm, Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, where he oversaw public opinion research in over 30 countries, gaining insights into the views of citizens around the world on a range of topics. Feierstein previously served at USAID, as director of the agency’s global elections office. He also worked in the State Department as special assistant to the U.S. ambassador to the Organization of American States. Prior to that, he was director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, overseeing programs to strengthen democratic institutions in developing countries. Feierstein, who is fluent in Spanish, has worked as a journalist in the United States and in Mexico and has published articles on international issues for leading major newspapers and journals. He received his B.A. magna cum laude from Tufts University and his M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Mark Feierstein es el Administrador Adjunto para América Latina y el Caribe de la Agencia de Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID). El Sr. Feierstein cuenta con 25 años de experiencia trabajando en asuntos relacionados a desarrollo internacional y América Latina y el Caribe. Antes de ingresar a USAID, el Sr. Feierstein se desempeñó como vicepresidente socio de la firma encuestadora Greenberg Quinlan Rosner. En esta función supervisó investigaciones de opinión pública en más de 30 países, adquiriendo conocimientos de las percepciones de los ciudadanos alrededor del mundo en una variedad de temas. Antes de trabajar en Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, el Sr. Feierstein trabajó como director de la Oficina Global de Elecciones de la Agencia de Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID). También se desempeñó en el Departamento de Estado como asistente del embajador de Estados Unidos ante la Organización de los Estados Americanos, donde tuvo la oportunidad de tratar temas de interés regional con diplomáticos de los países miembros.
