Nearly a decade ago some friends and I started a film festival that would showcase stories that were all about the power of story. We named it Damah after the Hebrew word for metaphor or parable and in 2001 the Damah Film Festival debuted in Seattle.
One of our early winners and a favorite of many of us who started the festival was this short film, The Fight That Never Ends, by a talented filmmaker named Sanjiban.
Damah expects to gear up for our tenth festival soon. Stay tune for details on how to submit your short film, between 1-30 minutes in length.
