"One man's ceiling is another man's floor..." - Paul Simon (1972)
"One man's wage rise is another man's price increase..." - Harold Wilson

Why do the Democrats keep using the wording the "Bush tax cuts" -- a nomenclature coined by -- and favored by -- the Republicans. It's a trap the Democrats keep falling into.

The correct term to use in ALL speeches and interviews referring to those dastardly tax breaks for the super-rich is the "Bush kick-backs".

That's what they were -- kick-backs to the wealthy who happily funded George W. Bush's campaign to get into and stay in the White House. The better to do to the US economy what the Republicans accused Bill Clinton of doing to Monica Lewinsky. Which Bush did with stunning skill. Not so much voodoo-economics as dry-drunkonomics. We're still nursing the hangover...

So let's hear no more of the "Bush Tax Cuts".

From now on they are the ""BUSH KICK-BACKS"
