Osama bin Laden is one ungrateful bastard. He regualrly lambasts the USA - never giving credit to the American hero who generously funded him through the CIA for 8 glorious years 1981-1989.
Well it's about time he acknowledged the vast help he got from the United States taxpayers throughout the Eighties. Money that helped him get established.
Now he is belatedly paying tribute - by emulating one of the signature looks of his original financier and 80s mentor.
Like Ronald Reagan - he finally has a look to dye for.
That's the power of Afghan Formula...

It's amazing how bad video can do wonders for a look alike.
The neo-cons wrote a funny speach though. Taxes, global warming and even got a bitch slap in on the Dems.
Maybe I need a labotomy and play for the winning team, Billo got an opening?
Let's not overlook the ideologies
Classic!
A few comments.
I refuse to die my hair, I'm proud of my Grey and do not want to look like a terrorist.
Ronald Reagan's fantastic presidency still rankles the far left tremendously, just as his continuing popularity does. Even to this day we see the last democratic party presidential convention put a child of Reagan on their stage to evoke Reagans name, presence, and supposed blessing. They also had a brief fling with Nancy Reagan over stem cells, as I recall. Yes, they love to garner in Reagan popularity when it suits them then turn around denying and smearing the rest of the time.
I remember Regan most for ending the economic crises the socialist democrats handed us as a result of their high taxes and welfare society. Also his strength in standing down the Soviet Union and then softening and allowing them to dismantle their failed socialist, communist welfare state. The Berlin Wall is gone. Thanks to many presidents, but particularly Reagan in the face of the likes of John Kerry telling Reagan he should not resist the soviet union but rather accept the slavery of Eastern Europe to the Soviet Union. Liberals are so good at allowing others to be enslaved for "peace".
Did the US in every presidency going back as far as we can remember support people abroad we don't particularly like to defeat an enemy we felt we had to resist? Yes. I remember Kennedy taking us into Viet Nam. I remember Clintons abject failure in dealing with Sadam allowing Sadam to set up shop in Afghanistan and his turning his head away from genocide in Africa.
So smear away, equating Reagan with Bin Laden but I don't think it's a smear that really does much to tarnish a great president (Reagan) who lifted America up out of the failed tax and spend doldrums of the democrat party and breathed new life into our economy and our nation, and our hearts. He made America proud and patriotic again. Patriotism, something else the "enlightened" "Global" left frowns upon.
Lefties aren't the only ones who had brief flings with Nancy Reagan. Peter Lawford had a few great stories about her. "I'm not one to gossip, so you ain't heard it from me, but..." it's all out there in cyberhistory. Reagan was a pathetic old man who could read scripts convincingly. Enough with the Reagan worship! You're story has become tiresome.
"Socialist Democrats"
Would you righties stop with the worthless rhetoric please? If you have any good sense in that head of yours, you know that Jimmy Carter was about as far from a socialist as you probably are.
And if you are offended by this bit of humor here, you should look carefully at how your side is gleefully equating bin Laden with the Democrats. Those who live by the sword die by the sword. So deal with it please.
By the way, had there been no Gorbachev, Reagan's macho posturing, which you still seem to love, would have probably resulted in nuclear war. That means there was no assurance that his game of nuclear chicken would have resulted in a peaceful ending of the Cold War. So much more, including lots of luck, had to happen.
Osama is not like Reagan, Bush is like Reagan, an intellectually deficient poster-boy who reads whatever lines his corporate sponsors write for him. Reagan was a great president just like Bush is the Decider, which is to say, not at all.
The Reagan years were a political Dark Age characterized by repressive backlash against civil liberties, trading arms for hostages with Iran, the glorious invasion of Grenada, illegal war in Central America, Iran-Contra, right-wing death squads, Republican stooges planted on the Supreme Court, "trickle-down" economics, etc.
Reagan never ended any financial crisis, he created them; his unrestrained deficit spending put this country in the deepest debt in history, which the Clinton administration was finally able to correct in the 90s. Of course, GW Bush frittered away the economic gains of the 90s and returned us to deficit spending and colossal debt.
Just like BushCo, Reagan gutted all social programs to instead hand out big contracts to his corporate sponsors and political favors to fanatical Christian religionists.
Reagan was without a doubt the worst, most destructive Governor of California I ever had to live through (he gutted the state education system and mental health establishments among other things), but he was also the figurehead for the most repressive, reactionary Presidential administration of my life - until GW Bush came along.
If you have fond memories of the Reagan years, you were either already obscenely wealthy, or a weapons dealer, or both. Or you're on some serious medication.
