Martin Webster is a former corporal in the British 1st Light Infantry. In 2004, he filmed British soldiers beating Iraqi youth in Al Amara, Iraq, during Operation Telic 3. The film spread around the world. He is the subject of a documentary titled “Diary of a Disgraced Soldier,” which won best film at the 2009 Cornwall Film Festival. Webster formed the organization “Voices of War” to provide an outlet for veterans to express their thoughts about war and post traumatic stress disorder.
