President Palin

Vice President Palin. President Palin.

Like it or not, John McCain, this is your case:

In a dangerous world, who will keep you safe? At a perilous time, who has the experience to face down the Russians, track down the terrorists, back down the Iranians, and bring peace to the Middle East? Who do you deserve to have a heartbeat away from the red phone?

Obama, you said the race is about presidential temperament.

Well, eat this, Barack. You want to see my presidential temperament in action? Sarah f*in' Palin, man. That's the ticket!

I'm not generally one to believe in conspiracies, but I can see the following scenario playing through McMansion's mind:

1) I floated Joe Lieberman and Tom Ridge and the holly rollers said no way!

2) I know! Nominate a c*nt, I mean, "woman", to bring in the PUMA vote (damn 19th amendment! Wish I had been able to block that).

3) Who's a good "woman"? Ah, Palin: Hockey mother, beauty queen (maybe she'll good to the next biker rally?), tool of the oil companies (Ah! That will make Cheney happy!).

4) Ok. She's under investigation for abuse of power. Perfect. I'll promise her a pardon and let her stick around for a year.

5) In 2010, she'll resign to "spend more time with her family" (sick baby! Sweet!!)

6) I'll nominate Joe to replace her. The democrats in Congress will let that sail through just to get rid of him.

Americans are suffering from a collapsing economy and the best the GOP has to offer is McCain who admits he doesnt know much about the economy and a women who has been gov. for only several years in a very small state, leaving the economic policy making to the Advisor who called us a Nation of whinners. S&%t, I am truly afraid for our Country.

Kristol thinks she's great.

My Republican son-in-law is ecstatic because he sincerely believes McCain will win with Palin on the ticket.

And don't underestimate her appeal in the western Rockies and the Ohio Valley. She also represents big oil.

Actually, she has been governor for less than two years....before that she was the mayor of some little town in the middle of nowhere. And she is a bigger Neo Con then McSame!

Amazing is a good word for her. Nobody I mean nobody outside of Alaska has heard her. Anyone remember Geraldine Ferraro & how well she did for Mondale? She is strongly anti-choice and anti-environmental protection, leading the way on the slaughter of Alaskan gray wolves.

Yes, she would bring some desperately needed brain power to the ticket and beauty, but she is not enough of an enticement for most of us. Last I heard, Americans are still overwhelmingly pro-choice, and her anti-environmentalism is not appealing. I will look forward to the photos of her gunning down wolves. Just Google Palin’s scandals; there’s plenty.

The American women of this nation will not fall for this… will they?

“No way, no how, no McCain.” (Thanks Hillary!!!)

When Mc C ain introduced her accomplishments, being on the PTA was third from the end before M ayor and Go vernor. There are a lot of bright people on my school's PTA, why not pick one of them?

Just another example of McCain's bad judgement. Based on all his years of experience and getting shot down and being a POW, he chose a woman who in her own words this morning, was a typical soccer mom a few years ago, then the PTA, city council, mayor of small town and Gov of small state.

She ain't no Golda Mier or Hillary, or even Madeline Albright. If McCain wins, she will be one malignent cell away from facing down Putin and Iran.

Does anyone recall how the reporters & critics all said "VP selection will be Obama's most important decision, qualifier, and judgement as President"? Well McCain has certainly proven that he is not qualified to lead this nation based on his selection of Palin as VP, who doesn't have the legal mind, the national experience, nor the wisdom to protect the last frontier of this entire world!!!!

This vp pick reeks of more of the same ole tired GOP division tactics. The GOP iis banking its entire campaign on its ability to divide the democratic party to win the election and not on fresh or even real ideas about how to put our Country on the right track.
The GOP party is morally bankrupt and is using this women. This very important selection offers the American people a glimpse into the heart of the GOP and its open contempt for the intelligence of the American voter, specifically women.

OMG!

Bear in mind folks that;

1: Sarah Palin is under CURRENT investigation, for abuse of the power of her office. ( befitting a republican)

2: The vice president, is a heartbeat away from the presidency. (in McCains case, 1/4 of a heartbeat)

Palin was was a 1984 runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant, receiving a scholarship to attend the University of Idaho, where she received a journalism degree. After working as a sports reporter at an Anchorage television station, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska, City Council from 1992 to 1996, was elected mayor of Wasilla (population 5,470 in 2000) in 1996, and ran unsuccessfully for Lieutenant Governor in 2002. She was elected Governor of Alaska in 2006 .

Population AK., 2006 estimate 670,053, population of the USA 2006 299,398,484

The Mayors of these following US cities, have just as much "executive experience" as Sarah Palin!

Population of;

Fort Worth Texas 681,818

Memphis Tennessee 674,028

Charlotte North Carolina 671,588

Now, can you imagine how qualified the mayors of THESE cities would be!!

1 New York City New York 8,274,527

2 Los Angeles California 3,834,340

3 Chicago Illinois 2,836,658

4 Houston Texas 2,208,180

5 Phoenix Arizona 1,552,259

6 Philadelphia Pennsylvania 1,449,634

7 San Antonio Texas 1,328,984

8 San Diego California 1,266,731

9 Dallas Texas 1,240,499

So far as I know, Palin has never been to the Sturgis bike rally, and never held the title of "Miss Buffalo Chip".

Actually, they have more by far, since Alaska isn't too complicated -- it's an oil-based economy, with a little fishing and tourism thrown in.

It's a laugh-out-loud bad choice, undermining every argument McCain hopes to make against Obama. Plus, she's corrupt.
