Somehow, Matt Kimmich ended up co-managing the Road to Davos project for the British Council after having no exposure whatsoever to the real world for 12 years, studying English Languages and Literatures in Bern, Switzerland, and then teaching literature to undergrad students. He still has academic (and other) interests in things such as post-colonial / post-modern novels, Shakespearean drama, film and comic adaptations of literature, and even narrative strategies in video games, in spite of what Roger Ebert may say. He also records his more geeky thoughts on his blog, Eagles on Pogo Sticks.
