Rudy Giuliani and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Josh Marshall takes a look at Rudy Giuliani's "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" in today's video update. Says Marshall:

Maybe you love Rudy or maybe you hate him. But whatever you may think of him, check out his foreign policy team, because that's the key to knowing what to expect from a Rudy presidency. Especially for candidates with little or no foreign policy experience of their own, the folks advising the candidate are key. And Rudy's team is made up, more or less, of all the guys who were too nuts or too extreme to make the cut with George W. Bush. If you really, really want to go to war with Iran as soon as possible, vote Rudy.

Giuliani's foreign policy advisers, like Mitt Romney's "Jihad" ad, are meant to achieve the same objective: pandering to the party base by, really, overcompensating for their lack of conservative bona fides and moderate records. The results are candidates parading around like cartoon characters based caricatures of what's left of the GOP.

The neocons seem to want to destoy us all!!
Hopefully the economy will wake people up before election time, that is in time to see that perpetual war is destroying our economy, and other parts of life in America as it once was. War in the Mid East is conducted and perpetuated by idiots running through the forest with big sticks and whacking every hornet nest that they see! Is it any surprise that the past four American Presidents didn't want to go there...?

It is ironic that Putin may have put things back in a balanced perspective by warning the US against attacking Iran. Life was somehow simpler with the superpower balance. In recent years, the former Soviets have been alot wiser than we have been. Now they have a friend on the Persin Gulf. Thanks W for making the world a safer place!

World War III is possible if another republican gains presidency since they all think Congress War Powers is insignificant and they can carry us all too war without anyones approval other than their own ambitions, greed, insanity..., one thing about it Einstien said the third world war would be fought with nuclear weapons and the fourth world war would be fought with bows and arrows...., one might joke about the four horsemen of the apocalypse, but truly the republicans represent all that is evil, they live for greed, have no problem spending billions on war, but cry horror when suggested they spend a pitience on child health care, truly the party of moral majority fits the bibles description of those who would worship the anti-christ as their messiah too the bloody end...,

The facts on Iran convincingly refute the unsupported, emotional, and dangerously irresponsible diatribe of Marshall and Ortega:

"They have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets."--Ahmadinejad

"Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury."--Ahmadinejad

"The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land. As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map."--Ahmadinejad

"[There is] no significant need for the United States."--Ahmadinejad

In summary, Marshall, Ortega, et al are apologists for aggression against innocent women and children in Iraq, Lebanon, and Israel by Iran.

Peruse this last web site as evidence that leftists like Marshall and Ortega are wrong with respect to US security and the risks from Islamic extremism:

Giuliani absolutely scares me to death. I don't see how the constitution of our formerly free country could withstand the one-two punch of 8 years of Bush and a Giuliani presidency. Today Putin chimed in saying that we shouldn't even talk about military action against Iran. WW VI indeed. I thought if we could just get Bush out of office before HE bombed Iran we would be in the clear, and then I hear about this gang of clowns. Part of the "promotion" of the Iraq war was to create a feeling of inevitability about it. I certainly see that happening in the Iran situation now. The other scary thing about Giuliani is how strong he runs against Clinton (who i admit, i do not support) in polls.
